Martin Duch is a Barcelona-based journalist and the founder of Retail to See, an independent trade publication covering the strategy, technology, and operations shaping global retail.

Before launching Retail to See in 2024, Martin spent over a decade advising retail and consumer brands on commercial strategy, digital operations, and analytics across Southern Europe and Latin America. That operator background informs the publication's focus on what retailers actually do, not what vendors say they should.

Martin studied Business Administration and Economics at Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, where he developed an early interest in how technology reshapes consumer markets. He later complemented his academic training with applied work in data analytics and digital strategy.

His reporting covers retail technology adoption, payment infrastructure, supply chain economics, and the intersection of regulation and commerce. He has reported on the ground from NRF (New York), Shoptalk (Las Vegas and Barcelona), Money20/20 (Amsterdam), World Retail Congress (Madrid), and EuroCIS (Düsseldorf).

Martin writes in English and Spanish. He is based in Barcelona.
